Tea Tree Oil vs. Benzoyl Peroxide Clinical Study
In a study on acne treatment, Tea Tree Oil (TTO) and Benzoyl Peroxide (BP) were compared. It was observed that 5% Tea Tree Oil significantly reduced both inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne lesions after 3 months. Although the onset of effect is slower with BP, the side effects are less than with BP.
